IPhone 5 data doesn't work when Wi-Fi is switched on
Okay this is weird. I know a lot of people have the problem of their Wi-Fi turning off and racking up an expensive data bill BUT here's my issue: my Wi-Fi works fine at home, no issues. The problem starts when I'm not in a Wi-Fi area and I'm using data. I seem to not have a responsive Internet connection UNLESS I go into settings and switch the Wi-Fi button to off (even though I'm not even using it).It's so annoying! It's not like I do not have service because I sometimes even have full bars and even then web pages and apps that require data won't load. Anyone else?
There's an update for the iPhone that will fix this problem. Go into settings and then General, then software update I believe it is.
- Will the dry rice method still work for an iphone if it has been switched on? I dropped my phone in water and immediately took it out, dried it and turned it on to see if it worked. The phone worked but there was no sound so i googled what to do and i found the dry rice method but it said that you shouldn't turn on your phone but i did (maybe for ten mins?) so i turned it off and put it in a bag full of rice. Will the sound go back to normal because i turned on my phone? Should i put in the bag of rice with the back removed and battery exposed then?
- Why doesn't my mobile data work? So I have a plan with two phones with cricket and IPhone and an Android the data works perfectly fine with the IPhone but it doesn't work with the Android… It's works fine searching things in google works fine using YouTube and all but when it comes to trying to get into a website it just says "This site can't be reached" I checked everything rebooted the phone a couple of times and still nothing. Why won't it let me open any websites?
- Why doesn't my data work on my iPhone 4s? Randomly, my iPhone 4s deleted a bunch of my texts yesterday. I can now no longer use data (Google, texts, youtube, etc). When I go to google, it says it can't load the page because data is turned off. I went to settings, and data is on. I turned it off then on again, and it still doesn't work. I'm going to take it to the store (I have Sprint, if that helps) and see if they can help, but I was wondering if there's something simple I'm missing.
- What used iphone company could be switched to a virgin mobile plan? I want to get with virgin mobile so badly, but imtrying to buy a used iphone 32 gb 4s, what company can i use verizon, att or sprint or t mobile r will i have to shell out the cash for a used virgin mobile phone?
