Iphone 5 headphone speaker jack problem?
I was outside and dropped my phone and i think a little water got inside it. It thinks the headphones are plugged in when they are not. I took a paperclip and tissue and shoved them inside to get the water out… Except the tissue ripped and is now jammed at the bottom of the jack…
The speaker works now but when i put the headphones in they don't go in all the way. I can jam them in which makes them work but then when i unplug them the phone thinks they are still in. Any ideas on how to get the little bit of tissue thats stuck at the bottom?
Try tweasers or a needle. Or contact apple care, go to the apple forums, or even the apple store. You don't want to mess up your phone, and Apple deals with this stuff all the time:3 good luck!
Try a hair dryer to completely dry out the connection and also the paper. If the paper gets dry enough, the air from the hair dryer may blow it out. If this doesn't work, then you will have to pay for repairs.
Try small tweezers to take them out or a hooked metal stick thingy which ENT doctors use to take out ear wax blockage… Or if that doesn't work get the jack changed
- What is the little hole besides the headphone jack on the iphone 4? Okay i have heard people with att that has an iphone say that if they stick a pin in the hole that a dim card tray will pop out. But my iphone is with sprint so i thought they didn't have sim cards so what will happen if i hit the button. * i'm not trolling this is my first time having anything from apple i'm a android person. * please no smart remarks!
- Somehow, a huge piece of the headphone jack got stuck in the headphone port, and I can't find any I think the headphone type is just a normal iPhone headphone. So ground, audio, mic and some of the plastic, or whatever it is, around it, got stuck in there, and it's not super deep, probably because it's almost the whole headphone jack, but it's still in there. Someone please help! I can't find anything! It's just the headphone jack tip that got stuck for everyone else! It's a laptop.
- Problem with the headphone jack in my iPhone 6? Whenever I'm wearing my headphone while walking (or basically any type of fast movement) the music will get all staticy for a few seconds. At first I thought my Apple headphones were wearing out but I got a new pair and the same thing is happening. Is there any way I can take care of this at home rather than sending it in to get fixed?
- Is my iPhone the cause of my headphone jack breaking? So I have an iPhone 4S and I was using these headphones for about a year and all the sudden the jack you plug in to the phone, bent. It wouldn't work anymore. I don't know how this happened, it may not have been my iPhone. However, now I have a new pair of headphones and I just want to make sure it isn't my phone doing this, could it be my phone or is that very unlikely?
