IPhone 5 iMessage, number not working?
Okay we'll I was using iMessage fine with my number and then yesterday I deleted all the emails my iMessage was registered to because I didn't know I had them registered to my iMessage so my family could have been reading my iMessages. So I deleted this emails and just kept my number and added MY email. Now every time I send a message it's sending using my email not my mobile number. My mobile number is actually greyed out and there's no check mark next to it only my email.
P.S - I'm currently overseas not in America. I have been overseas for 2 weeks now and it just happened I know iMessage is Wi-Fi though was working fine.
In settings, under iMessage it should tell you the number or email its connected to. I think you have to deactivate the email from iMessage and select your number.
- Why is my iPhone 5 imessage not working all of a sudden? This has never happened before. It was working fine all day up until about an hour or so ago. I tried restarting and all of the "fixes" but nothing worked… Help!
- My iMessage is not working on my Iphone 4 I got the iPhone 4 around 3weeks ago.iMessage was working just fine until today. My texts were not sending at all. I have no idea how to fix this. I tried restarting my phone and resetting it and it didn't help. Someone please help! Thank you! I have tried everything! It is working on my friend's phone though so why not mine?
- IPhone push/imessage not working? Been having problems with my iPhone for about an hour, all of a sudden iMessage's have stopped sending and I'm unable to get any push notifications (twitter, facebook, etc) are coming through. I've reset the phone numerous times to no avail. Any ideas what else I can do? I've checked notifications in settings and their all on. It's happened before but it hasn't stopped my iMessage working too.
- Iphone airplane mode ON, Wi-Fi enabled, iMessage not working? I'm abroad and I have airplane mode on and the Wi-Fi enabled and am connected but whenever i try to send an iMessage it goes green and won't work. I checked and everyone said iMessage will work over just Wi-Fi but how do i do it?
