IPhone 5 lock button broke? Replacement?
Ok so my iPhone 5 is 8 months old so I have 4 months left of my warranty, my lock button has nearly completely stopped working it used to work ok on the left side but now it's very rare that it does and I can't turn it off. The lock button presses in fine just doesn't respond. Is there a chance if I take it in the apple store they will replace it? I've heard people saying they do but I don't know if it's true, and I don't want to use the assistive touch in settings because its just as hassle and annoying, please help
Yes they will replace it as you have warranty left.
Yea Apple will replace it for sure if you have a warranty. The only thing I know they won't replace is if your iPhone is water damaged. And if you really want to sell it you can always go on http://www.cashiphone.com/ so there's nothing to worry about!

I called Verizon thinking I had insurance on the phone and I don't, the phone is only a year and a couple months old. I can no longer lock my phone and if it dies of if I turn it off I will no longer be able to turn it back on. What can I do? It is a flaw on the phone so shouldn't they replace it?
