IPhone 5 opening apps and typing?
About a week ago, I got a screen replacement for my phone. Everything worked perfectly fine. Maybe 3 days after getting the new screen, I updated to iOS 7. 2 days ago, on Instagram, I was trying to type a comment, and my phone started typing on its own; ntjzkksllsbbauwkxnnzzzzndnnssowl
As soon as I locked my phone and unlocked it, I had no problems.
Today, I pressed the home key, and it opened kik. So I closed kik. It reopened. This happened maybe 5 time. So I locked my phone, unlocked it, and everything was fine.
Can't quite figure out if this would be because of the screen change, or the software?
Again I had no problems with the screen until I updated my phone to iOS 7, 3 days later.
You can try turning off the phone completely to see if that helps. A complete reset could also help. This could be from both the update and the new screen, though it is more likely the screen. See if you can get an answer from whoever fixed the screen in the first place, they might have another solution.
- Winter gloves for texting and typing? I work nights and have to use a keyboard all the time. I also have an iPhone. I want to buy a pair of gloves in Delhi which I won't have to take off every time I use my phone or the keyboard. I apologize if I chose a wrong category
- What's with these random Apple ID password prompts when opening certain apps on iPhone X? Whenever I open an app I sometimes get a "sign into itunes store" prompt and have to enter my password. If I press cancel it closes the app. If I enter my password the app starts up like nothing ever happened. This happens at completely random intervals. I looked all over Google and only found a similar issue that wasn't quite mine. How do I make this annoying thing go away?
- What do I do if my iPhone is lagging and getting like stopped while I'm typing? I have an iPhone 5c and it gets like slow and lags and whole I'm typing sometimes it just gets stuck, any solutions?
- Water damage and opening iPhone 5c both puts it out of warranty, so do both? If having water damage in your iPhone 5c means you aren't covered by warranty, is it acceptable to open it and try to fix it as opening it also means it isn't covered by warranty. Therefore if you can't fix it yourself, apple can still take it out of warranty?
