Iphone 5 partially fell in water?
So yesterday i was using my iphone in bed. I put it beside me and went to sleep. When i woke up, i found out that my iphone had fallen into a cup that had a little bit of water. The top part of the the iphone was in water for an unknown about of time. The phone was wet from the ear speaker and up. However it won't turn on. I have put it in a container of rice. How long am i supposed to leave it there? And also, if that doesn't work, is there any other way i can fix the iphone?
Just depends if damage was done. Rice doesn't magically fix damage.
That is roughly where the lcd and digitizer cable are, it's possible only the screen is out. Either way if only the top portion was in water I would say there's a 70% of revival if you take it to a cell phone water damage specialist.
- Why am I always partially charging my iphone 5? I have the app Battery Doctor and it says I partially charge my iPhone all the time… It says I will charge it for 3 minutes then unplug the iPhone. I only charge my phone at night so I never unplug it until the morning. Does anybody know what's going on?
- When I receive text messages with emojis from an iPhone, why do the messages only appear partially? My phone is a "Verizon Samsung Intensity II" slide phone. (Also it's blue but that doesn't matter.) Also, if I'm included in an iPhone group chat (spoiled rich friends, but not snobby…), I get each posted message as a separate message, so I'll end up randomly with 67 unread messages clogging up my inbox.
- What to do if your iPhone fell in water? I tried the blow dryer approach and now I submerged my phone in a container filled with rice. Is there anything else I can try at this point?
- What do i do, my iphone fell in water I was brushing my teeth while listening to music from my iphone and it fell in the sink and was completely submerged in water for about a few seconds but i got it out quickly. I turned it off right away and put it in a bowl of wild rice (obvously not cooked) because thats what it said online. Did i do the right thing? Does anyone have any better methods? If the rice is the right idea, how long do i leave my phone in it?
