IPhone 5 (Straight Talk, Verizon Towers) Can be used on AT&T or T-Mobile?

I bought the Straight Talk iPhone 5 at full price, it uses the Verizon Towers, but Verizon doesn't cover my home very well, and I'm wanting to purchase the Straight Talk SIM card, that uses the AT&T towers and get the SIM card cutter tool, but my question is will this work?

Uhh… I think you are confused. Straight talk uses T-mobile towers. You can put that phone if it has a sim card in it on att or T-mobile though if you unlock it. Verizon is CDMA.

You can definitely use the iPhone on AT&T StraightTalk towers but StraightTalk are not selling AT&T compatible SIM anymore. You can mail this person (arghyle@rocketmail.com) who can help you get the StraightTalk AT&T SIM.

  • Straight Talk and iPhone 4s (VSW towers) I recently bought an unlocked iPhone 4S (originally from AT&T) from a lady at work. I'm switching to Straight Talk. In my area, Verizon gets the best service. I know that ST uses GSM phones. Another lady at work says that her family got ST phones that use Verizon towers. I was curious if ST uses Verizon towers and if this iPhone 4S will use those towers when I activate and port my number? I want to have good service, so I'm hoping if it will bounce off of the Verizon towers here.
