IPhone 5 survived swimming pool. Why?
It was submerged for 5 seconds. Are Apple not telling us something. Waterproof?
I doubt it. You probably just got lucky sense it was for 5 seconds
Because of the chemicals in pool water. Regular tap water will kill it though.
Give it time. Once the water remaining inside starts to corrode the circuits ul realise there's no such thing as a waterproof iphone from apple.

- Will my period stop by tomorrow for swimming? Ok. So I got my period last Saturday the 7th. It is now Friday the 13th. My period still has not stopped, it has slowed down a lot though. It is the seventh day and normally mine lasts about 7ish days. I have plans with my friends to go swimming tomorrow and I really don't want to have to use a tampon. Will it most likely be done before I go swimming? If not is there anything I can do besides tampons? By the way it is really light.

I don't think the rice will be able to get all the water from inside the phone. Any advice would help.

I jumped in the pool and swam for no more than 1 minute until I realized my phone was still with me. I immediatly freaked out, ran home and put it in a container of white rice. - Went swimming with iPhone 4S:/? My boyfriend got in the pool, and forgot his phone was in his pocket. It's been in rice for about 4 hours and still not working. It will come on, because when you toggle the volume switch, it vibrates. The screen is just black. Should I leave in in rice longer, or go get the screen replaced? I'm lost
