Went swimming with my iPhone 5c, how do I fix it?
Ok so I had my new iphone 5 in my swimsuit and I totally forgot about it. I jumped in the pool and swam for no more than 1 minute until I realized my phone was still with me. I immediatly freaked out, ran home and put it in a container of white rice. The screen was black and it failed to turn on. Its been about 24 hours and its still not turning on. I'm scared, I need to fix it but i don't know what to do. Please Please Help ME any advise would be helpful!

What you do is this: throw it away and buy a replacement.
It's been in chlorinated water; you've clearly also tried turning it on whilst it was wet. You may as well have crushed it or burnt it; the net effect is the same.
I was in the same boat a few days ago! Put it rice and LEAVE IT THERE for at least 2 days and if it doesn't work then you might have to look into getting a replacement! Hopefully it works!
This will go down as a lesson learned.

It is the seventh day and normally mine lasts about 7ish days. I have plans with my friends to go swimming tomorrow and I really don't want to have to use a tampon. Will it most likely be done before I go swimming? If not is there anything I can do besides tampons? By the way it is really light.

I don't think the rice will be able to get all the water from inside the phone. Any advice would help.

It will come on, because when you toggle the volume switch, it vibrates. The screen is just black. Should I leave in in rice longer, or go get the screen replaced? I'm lost
- Screen on my iphone 4 went white, how can i fix it without restarting? I have an iphone 4. I went to open an app and it went to open then just went white. My power button is broke so i can't restart it. The home button works, however it will not get me off the white screen. Is there anything else i can do besides restarting or letting the battery die to get back to the home screen?
