IPhone 5s chargers keep breaking?

I've gone through 3 chargers for my iphone. They work fine until one day they just randomly stop charging. Sometimes a message pops up that says the charger isn't recognized. How do I stop this?

Added (1). I don't understand how if something is stuck inside the charger part on the phone, how would new chargers work instead of the old ones?

It may not be the chargers, it may be your phone. Something could be stuck or jammed inside the charger jack to prevent your phone from charging. Take a flashlight and look for any abnormal things inside the jack.

I would get a new one

Get a griffin brand charger. They are a bit more pricey but mine lasted almost a year. The ones I have for my iPhone 5C are pieces of s*** as well. They are the same kind of charger as the iPhone 5S. I've found if your charger is on the fritz, plug it in then lick it (yes, lick it! LOL) then plug it in to your phone. I've probably gone through 5 chargers with my iPhone and I've only had it for about 9 months. Hope this helps

The charger is delicate. There are many wires underneath the white covering of the charger. Those wires are extremely thin and easy to break. Once a wire is ok the verge of breaking it has has snapped, they charger stops working. I don't think anything is wrong with your phone. Just be more gentle and don't tug hard on it. I find Apple's charges last the longest for me!
