IPhone 5s connection problem?
I need an iPhone hardware expert on this question, some days ago I really messed up my 64GB iPhone 5s.
I was drunk and I was trying to break a stick using my leg and I hit my iPhone with the stick so it kind of got ''bent'' like a banana, the screen didn't smash but i was getting a screen full of code saying stuff like ''panic(cpu) error, no OS version set etc. I opened up the iPhone, took everything out and used a hammer to make it straight again and then I put everything back.
After that i started workig för like a day, but then I started experiencing porblems with my antenna, one second I have 5 bars connection and the next second I don't have any connection at all. So it's really messed up when I'm trying to call sometimes.
(Good to know: the motherboard was also bent just a little bit so I bent it back to normal again.)
So what I need help with is to understand what the hardware issue is (and hopefully how to fix it).
As far as the panic error goes, that motherboard is probably the culprit. It's mad at being bent, so consider that if the problem persists.
But for your antennas, they could be loose because of the 'bent'. IPhone antennas are built into the band around the case.
Here's a how to 'teardown' that might come in handy. I would inspect and make sure everything is put back in it's place and consider a hard reset.
Best luck.
