Iphone 5s problem with the Wi-Fi?

My iphone5s Wi-Fi signal isn't strong you need to get near to the router to get the signal. I need to be inside the room with the router to get 1 bar… What should I do… I tried resetting the Wi-Fi in general but it is still the same… My warranty is also over plus it is like this since the first time using it.

I don't think the problem is with the device. I suggest you to get a Wi-Fi extender or use the router in the middle of the living room. Also, the walls absorbs the signal. Even the refrigerators and micro ovens minimizes the signal strength.

If you have some computer skill or have a friend that does, easiest and best now is to set of a MESH in your house. You plug a little box in near your computer and router, and set it to recognize your Wi-Fi. Then you plug it in further away in your house. It uses the electrical wires in your walls to make mesh of connection possibilities. Some houses need more than one. Not ex pensive, you take it with you when you move, and makes a great improvement. We instead have a Netgear extender - works fine for what we need.
