IPhone 5S vs Samsung Galaxy note 3.Note 3 beating iphone in the future?

So a little time and youtube streaming made me lean to the iPhone with it's awesome operating System and awesome features like the touch sensor and the slow mo video capture, but it made me think with samsung's specs in the future can it do it also? If they develop a nicer O.S?

i've done research and i've found out that samsung has the overall advantage in terms of "horsepower" and size and apple has the advantage on terms of "skill" and looks, but i'm wondering because apple used less hardware but more software to make their smartphone more Nicer, but what happens if Samsung's customizability became much more futureproof? Is it possible that if a Custom Rom has been made for Note 3, then is it possible that in the future the note 3 would be much more beneficial in terms of practicality of buy? Or let me put it at this.
If samsung maked their software operating system android better in the future is it possible that note 3 can even match iphone 6 (air), because if samsung matched the performability of apple's O.S does that mean that iPhone 6 and note 3 would be just a match and iphone would just look more nicer?

Added (1). @Lvarg what i was saying was What if with samsung's higher performance specs. What if in the future they also develop an efficient O.S like apple has plus i really don't think apple is that efficient at all with 1500mah it lasts 10hours on heavy use yet with note 3 3000+ mah it last 30 hours heavy use, i just think iphones are overrated, You can play better games at note 3 btw android is open source you can download, customize and improve its content straight from the net, i believe iphones are for people who really only use it for normal texting, calls, games, etc. While note 3 is for people who knows how to push the capabilities of their phones.

I personally like iphone better. I have the 5S but I know at least 3 ppl with the Note 3.It really just comes down to preference and what you use the phone for. Too me the iphone is better, it looks better, can be used for multipurpose things and isn't so big to carry around. Fits in your back pocket. The Note 3 is an animal! Lol it's so big and if you don't like to use clips which I don't then you pretty much have to carry it in your hands all day. Really I like both phones and you can't go wrong with either ones operating system but for me the iphone is way more convenient.

Horsepower means nothing because iphone is designed to be mroe efficient. Why do you think games perform so much better on iphones compared to others?

I did a review of the note 3. I really like the screen size and find that I'm able to do things alot faster with the extra screen size. Hope the review helps your decision.

  • What is a good phone, iPhone 5, Samsung Galaxy S2, or Samsung Galaxy S3? I need a new phone and I'm wondering which I should get. My friend is selling his GS2 for around 50 Bucks and I could possibly get an iPhone 5 or Galaxy S3. Can you tell me the prices with and without the plan. And for people that have these phones could you tell me how good it is and which carrier(Sprint, Verizon, At&T)?
  • Should i get the Apple iPhone 5 or the Samsung Galaxy Note 2? I'm buying a new phone and i was just wondering which one is better. Some people say the iphone and some people say the galaxy.
  • Should I buy the new iPhone 5, or wait until November for the Samsung Galaxy Note 2? I'm really tempted to get the iphone 5 right now, because I really want to switch out of my blackberry. I've never used an android phone, and I'm sick of the apple ios. The ios is too simple and plain. I was going to get the galaxy note but then I heard rumors of the Samsung Galaxy note 2. Should I risk getting the iPhone 5 and not regret it or wait 1 and a half months for the Galaxy Note 2?
  • Should I buy Samsung Galaxy Note 2 or iPhone 5? I can't decide. I was thinking of buying iPhone 5 but I was quite disappointed with it as the screen is longer instead of wider. Samsung Galaxy Note 2 has a wide screen and I can do different tasks with it. Despite that, I've always use iPhone and I don't really hope changing another brand.
