Iphone 5s without data plan?

Can you use the iphone 5s with verizon wireless without a data plan? So it's just fit call text and apps.

It will be extremely difficult to use the iPhone 5s without text or data. IPhone has background app rendering. Which means that the applications the required data will be running in the background without you even noticing it. Therefore this will pull data automatically start charging you without you knowing. Also most of the applications with the iPhone and iPhone 5s have Data use. In my opinion I think you just need a phone that will call. Also I believe that Verizon AT&T did not allow any iPhones on their network without a data plan. Call your representative and make sure this is even allowed. You might want to try a regular phone not a smart phone

I don't believe that Verizon allows any smartphones without charging you a data plan.

If Verizon offers such a plan. You do know that apps use data though, right? I mean, you would not need data if you were only going to use the apps when you have a Wi-Fi connection.
