IPhone 6 - apps not working on mobile data?

I have an iPhone 6 and recently went abroad (from UK) and I went into settings>mobile data: and under the option "use mobile data for:" I turn off every app.
Now I'm home I'm trying to turn them on but every time I switch them on and then back out to previous menu and then go back in check they are on, they re have switched themselves back off?!

Maybe not enough data?

Did you resolve your issue cause I have the same one.

As when I turn on my mobile data without data roaming the 3G doesn't work until I actually turn on data roaming?

I was experiencing an overheating problem with my iPhone and I read somewhere online that if you reset your network settings then it fixes the problem so that's what I did. However, now mobile data doesn't work. Everytime I try to use mobile data it now says 'Sorry, you are not subscribed to a mobile data service' or something like that. How do I fix this? By the way, my carrier is JT-Wave
