IPhone 6 charger got wet? SOS?
So a watter bottle got spilled inside my bag and my charger, headphones and USB flash drive were in it. I took them all out as soon as possible, dried them with some clothing and put them on a dry spot for about 2hrs (I was in the library). I got home and plugged the charger in and it appears to be working just fine. The part that goes into my phone was slightly warm but I gather it is normal? Is it dangerous to keep charging my phone with it if it appears to be working fine? It did slightly hesitate to begin charging at first but once it started it didn't stop.
As for my headphones, I tried them out immediately and they seemed to be working too. The flash drive still seems moist so I've put it aside for a little while.
IIm scared, will the charger damage my phone and will the flash drive damage my laptop?
No, wait for the charger and headphones to dry and they should be fine
If the water hasn't damaged your stuff by now, it probably won't.
- My iphone got wet, what should I do? My iphone got wet and the girl at the AT&T store tried to turn it back on. Is there still hope for it or is it pretty much screwed?
- IPhone charger wet, still usable? Okay so my niece put my charger (this side that goes into my phone) in her mouth and her mom put my phone back on the charger and now my phone won't charge on anything.
- IPhone 4 got wet and is overheating Can someone help me out. My phone got wet due to a faulty LifeProof case in a swimming pool. It was not soaked just a bit of moisture but still enough to mess it up. All the functions are fine (other than the lock button which plays up sometimes but that is not such a problem). The major problem is that the phone is overheating, almost too hot to touch. I think its a short in the battery but i'm ot sure. Any suggestions or ideas how to fix it… Thanks
- I got my iPhone 4 wet. Can I pay for an iPhone 4S to replace it? I wen't to Apple after going through a lot with the water damage. The woman said "I can't belive you're iPhone is still working." So she told me to go home at soak it in rice. She said their is a "CHANCE" of it working again. I'm wondering because she told me if I wanted to replace my iPhone it would cost 169$. Can I buy an iPhone 4S with the same cost?
