This update has many problems. There are ample sources online to fix many things - and to roll your OS back to 8.4.1. A bug-fix update of 9 comes out in mid-October. I spent 2 days sorting our mine and DH's phones - we have the 6 phones - and share an account, and this gave me some headache - better phone function now, but not completely like we like it - and NOBODY ASKED if we wanted things dumped the way they did. It's like getting present ( update to improve function, maybe?) - and finding out it is POISONOUS. Should have warned us all of the potential impact of the content, before they dumped this on our phones' front porch. "Want this puppy? He sure looks cute - but he refuses to be housebroken, and he BITES."
- Will i be charged for texts on iPhone even though i turned off cellular data and enable 3G? I have turned off my cellular data and 3G believing that everything of texts web browsing etc. Is all based on Wi-Fi. I know imessage won't charge me even though i'm on Wi-Fi. However if i were to text someone who does not have an iphone and it isn't imessage will i still be charged? Because sending messages to them works with my cellular data and 3g off but will i be charged or even charged more since it is off?
- Which iOS data recovery software can be compatible with iPhone 6 plus and iOS 8.4? I also know that there are so many similar tools on the internet that can help find back the deleted photos on iPhone. However, I don't exactly know whice one can be compatible with iPhone 6 plus and iOS 8.4?
- Iphone 6. Data and Wi-Fi turned on. Will apps only run on data? Or, will it use Wi-Fi when available? It seems i'm burning through data. I tried turning off data to an app i was using when i had Wi-Fi while cannected to Wi-Fi and continually received a message to ho to settings>Cellular>Cellular Data>Use cellular data for>then a selection of aps like safari, google maps, ap store… With cellular data turned off or if just the app chosen not to use data. I was unable to access when connected to Wi-Fi.
- IPhone 5 data usage. How much data will I need for certain apps? If I'm sending around 15-20 tweets a day, refreshing my twitter feed frequently about once every 10-15 mins & refreshing an Instagram feed around once an hour will 250MB's data be enough for a month? I won't be posting any photo's on Instagram or Twitter when I'm away from Wi-Fi. I'll also be receiving about about 10 emails a day without attachments?
