IPhone 6 keeps turning off and on while charging?
I don't understand, I've only had this phone for a year and its turning off and on while charging. Recently, I was using a really messed up apple cord to charge it, the wires were showing off it really badly but it still worked. Now, I have this new charger and it says its charging but it keeps shutting off and says dead battery and then it turns back on, and then turns back off…

- Wouldn't turning off iPhone while charging shorten battery life? They say the iPhone has a battery life of 400 full charge cycles before it starts its decline. Ok here is the thing… A lot of talk on how to save battery life on the iPhone by charging habits such as turning the phone off while charging, airplane mode while charging, turn off Wi-Fi bluetooth etc… But if the phone charges faster… Wouldn't that increase the amount of full charge/discharge cycles and there for decreasing the life of the battery?
- Why is my iPhone 5 turning off and not turning back on? This has happened twice now. My iPhone 5 has turned off in the middle of the night with a full charge and off the charger, and when I try to turn it back on it takes a couple tries. Has anybody experienced this?
