IPhone 6 overheating problem?
So whenever I have Spotify running in the background, my iPhone overheats pretty quick to the point where I feel like I could cook an egg on it. Any fixes?
It could be a faulty battery, but since it only happens with Spotify, that's quite odd. To be honest, if you haven't yet, try uninstalling and reinstalling the app. If that doesn't work, ask Spotify if this is a known issue and if there's a fix for it. If it isn't, I would suggest going back to where you bought the phone from (like Verizon) and asking them about it, and if they find your phone battery really does have an issue, you can work it out with them. But to me, it really sounds like an issue with Spotify if that's where you experience it.
- Why is my iPhone 5 overheating? It's also killing my battery. I've barely used my phone today. I charged it overnight and started using it at 7 and its now 12:20 and I only have 14% plush phone is super hot. Why is it doing this?
- Why is my iPhone 4 overheating? It always says iPhone to hot get out of sun and shuts down, where I live it's 45F and cloudy, WTF!
- Why does my iPhone keep overheating? My iphone 4 keeps saying that it needs to cool down yet its not even hot. It'll work for about 5 minutes then go back to the temparure screen. Turning it off and on helps but only for about 5 minutes.
- Why does my apple iPhone charger keep overheating? Whenever I plug my phone in, I worry about whether it's going to die because I plug it in around 5% and a lot of the time my charger will overheat and stop charging even though its plugged in. So I'd have to unplug it for a bit and wait for it to cool down while my phone is dying. When I touch the charger it's always super warm. How do I fix this? Or is it just broken?
