IPhone 6 touch ID not working?

I haven't even had my iphone 6 for a month and the touch id seems to have stopped working. Has anyone else had this problem and were you able to fix it?
I tried cleaning the button, turning the phone on and off again, and even re-registering my fingerprints. Nothing is working!

Try taking it to an Apple Store to see if they could help. For the record the reviews have said Touch ID sensors on the 6 are much improved over the ones on the 5s, though they weren't bad either compared to Samsung's implementation on the Galaxy S5 which was mostly a failure.

  • Why is my iPhone 4's touch screen not working well? I have an iPhone 4, and has recently stopped working properly. When I unlock it, it will sometimes take at least 5 swipes to work. It's even worse when I try to put in my passcode. In the middle of playing a game or texting someone, the touch screen will stop working, and I can't tap. The home and power button still work just fine, but I need to power off and then back on again to get it working again. If anyone can help, it is greatly appreciated.
  • Iphone touch screen not working? The assistive touch is working and allows me to press on it, and i can access the toolbar things with top and bottom swipe but if i try to unlock it won't unlock and if i try to turnoff the swipe to turn off won't work either! Wtf do i do! Iphone4s
  • Iphone cracked, touch not working, can't unlock - how to back up? My iPhone cracked today, and the the screen's gone completely white. The phone still works (ie it still charges, rings, etc), but the touch isn't working and I can't see the screen at all. I'm trying to back everything up onto my computer so that I don't lose all of my photos, etc… But I can't, because iTunes tells me I need to unlock my iPhone first.

I cracked my phone awhile ago and one day i woke up and the touch screen function was not working, I thought it was because i needed to get a new screen, so i did. But now i have the new screen and it still isn't working, what can be the problem? I don't have apple care so can't take it into them.
