Iphone 6 will affect value of Iphone 5S?
I know that most likely that the IPhone 5s will lower in price but how much? Currently it's 600 brand new and I want to get a 5s and I'm debating whether I should do it now or wait until then if there's no drastic change in pricing
If it changes at all (still a maybe, because the 6 is probably going to be $700-$750) it will go down all of $50.
This is Apple you are talking about after all… They don't want some of your money, they want All of your money.
Usually the price of the previous flagship iPhone goes down by $100, so if it is $199 (on contract) now, it would be $99 by the release of the iPhone 6.
However with what the rumors are saying, that Apple would release 2 new models of iPhones, with different sized displays & the bigger one having $100 more to it this may affect how Apple sells them this year.
I expect this to be the case though (on contract prices)
$99 - iPhone 5s
$199 - iPhone 6 (4.7")
$299 - iPhone 6 (5.5")
at least the starting prices.
