Iphone 6s heats up fast

For some weird reason my iphone keeps restarting and i can feel the iphone heating up all of the sudden. I turned it off and it cooled down quickly after 10 mins.

after turning it on for like 30secs it is already hot all of the sudden then my phone restarts again.

is it a battery problem?

Something is defiantly wrong with your phone. I would recommend going to a cell phone repair shop and have them check it out. If you got a warranty, you may be able to replace it.

If have case over phone that can make the phone overheat for sure. Also could be defective battery

Where is it hot? It sounds like a battery problem, and if you're phone isn't damaged from being dropped, you can get it fixed for free if it's under warranty

1) the heating is just normal. I just never noticed it before… I just overreacted when i felt the heat for the first time and realized it on the day my phone started acting up.
2) the restarting problem is a software problem. Apparently it happened because of the some failure of downloading/updating the new iOS properly. Everything is fine now. Sad part is that i lost all my apps since it was restored to its factory settings. Good thing i had the cloud to restore most of them like phone numbers.
