IPhone 6s microphone issues?
Having issues with my iPhone 6s microphone. Hey Siri doesn't work, nor does talk to text/dictation. When I try to FaceTime someone they can't hear me BUT when I use Facebook messenger video chat they can hear me. Same with general calls on speaker phone, no issues. If I plug my headphones in I can talk to text and the phone picks up what I say. I've tried about everything I can find online to try and fix it but I can't find any scenario similar to mine. Thought?
Factory reset
Check your settings to make sure that the mic volume is up. Same for those apps that use the mic, check their mic settings as well, as some app settings can over ride phone settings even when running in the background.
Check the mic hole, to make certain there's no pocket grime, grit, fuzz in it. If there's try using the edge tool on your vacuum to remove it, do not cram anything into the hole, as all you will do is push whatever it is further into the mic hole.
If all else fails, take the phone to an Apple store to see if they can detect what the ussue it. At the very least, have them do a full backup (something you should do before going there as well), and have them do a factory reset, with a full restore. This "should" rule out this being hatdware problem, but if it doesn't, your options will be, live with it or replace the phone.

I was looking at the info on the Facebook app and the screenshot image showed one with the keyboard pulled up in that last photo.well next to the keyboard language symbol there was a microphone. Is that for texts or anything? And how dou change that setti g on my phone?
- IPhone microphone to record video at a Rave? I recorded with my IPhone 4s on Drum and Bass night in Fabric London and the videos came out very well, also the sound was great but where the bass was very high it doesn't sound that good and was wondering if anyone knows which microphone are great for rave recording that the sound sounds amazing.
