Iphone 6s microphone problems?
IPhone 6s running ios 10.3.2. Microphone works (no mechanical errors) as I can record videos with sound. I can record both front facing and rear facing videos with sound. However, siri and voice detection do not detect any sound and some apps do not either
example: snapchat
I can record videos etc and the microphone works fine both front facing and rear facing. However when using the video call function, the other person can't hear any sound and they have their volume/ not muted etc.
Why is this and is there any fixes? I do not want to go to the apple store as they always advise to either replace the phone(buy a new one) which I do not want to do

I was looking at the info on the Facebook app and the screenshot image showed one with the keyboard pulled up in that last photo.well next to the keyboard language symbol there was a microphone. Is that for texts or anything? And how dou change that setti g on my phone?
