IPhone 8 photos not showing up on laptop when connected via USB?

I used to upload photos from my iphone 8 on my laptop with windows 10. I plugged it in via usb cable, then open the iphone, open the folders, and all my photos were there.

Now all of a sudden when I do that and open the folders, there's like 3 photos. Why is this happening? To the best of my knowledge I did not change any settings.

Try another USB cable or USB port. Or upload in icloud then download onto computer.

  • Turn iPhone into as it were an internet router via USB? Is it possible to use your iPhone as if it were to be an internet router, using a computer's internet connection instead of 3G/4G data? I don't have a data plan, and usually I'm in a place without a hotspot nearby.
  • Regardimg charging iphone through laptop via USB cable? This is my issue. When I start my laptop (running Windows Vista), when I plug in my iPhone through USB, I can charge it and access it through iTunes as it should be but as soon as I unplug it, when I replug it the laptop doesn't recognize it and it won't charge at all. When I access device manager, I see a little triangle with an exclamation mark saying error code 10. Any idea how I can fix this issue?

I have an iphone 4 with lots of photos on when i plug it into my laptop it will show a dcm folder where photos are stored on the phone ; but when i open the folder it says there are no photos or videos to display even though they are on there. on a different laptop the pics show up perfect any help to resolve this will be appreciated By the way i use android the iphone is my daughters just thought i'd mention that smartass
  • My iphone won't connect to anything via USB cord I was using my phone connected to my computer via USB cord then i took it out for a little while then tried to put it back it and it isn't working! I tried 2 different cables plugged into my computer and charger but nothing works. The phone won't connect.anyone know what's wrong?
