Iphone apps disapeared after an update?
I did an update on my phone, and when i turned it back on, all my apps were gone except for the ones that already came with the iphone. When i go to the app store and try to download them, i will type one in like "facebook" and on the top right where it usually says "free", it now says "open".so i can get to facebook that way but i want to download it to my iphone like it was before. How do i do this?
I'm sorry buddy I never heard a case like this before maybe those apps are in your iCloud and also try turning the phone off then on
I would recommend doing a restore in iTunes. This is definitely a strange case

I plan on backing up my phone first, but will the backup save these apps from being gone forever? Is there a way to prevent these apps from being deleted other than backing up my phone? Or will these apps simply be no longer avaliable?

Last night I powered it down for the night, and when I woke up a d turned it back on and unlocked the lock screen and went to my home screen it said I had two text messages and before I could click on it they disappeared. So where did they go and is there any way to find them?

My iphone content may be stored on my computer, it seems to automatically sync when i plug it to my computer, but I don't know how to pull the saved iphone content them up, if it's there.
