IPhone camera makes me look 10x worse (Or maybe I just really look THAT bad?)?
I'll keep it simple. I look fine in the mirror. With my two digital cameras (12.1 MP Sony Cybershot and 14 MP Fujifilm), I look pretty much how I look in the mirror, only reversed. I use flash on those cameras.
The flash on the iPhone makes me looked so washed out and pale and highlights any little spots. The front facing camera. I have no clue what it does, but I feel like it makes me look like I have really fat cheeks. It's pretty devastating how different I look. I'm thinking it's just the crappy indoor lighting? And that maybe flash on high quality cameras = more accurate? I dunno.
But I see people take iPhone selfies, and they look how they look to me. I just wish I looked the same as I imagine on all cameras.
Which is more accurate? Low quality iPhone pics? IPhone pics with flash? My cameras with flash? Mirror? I just wanna know what I look like to everyone else

Either way. That's a crappy iPhone pic with the front facing camera. Basically, the only time I take pics that I like are when I catch myself a little off guard. To be clear, I like that pic. But pics like that don't happen often AT All on the iPhone camera. I like 95% of my pics on the higher quality cameras. Again, I just wanna know what I look like to everyone else.
Well an iphone is a phone not a high quality camera so you shouldn't expect it to look that great, especially with flash. But maybe it's the way you're taking the picture of yourself? I don't think there should be a significant difference in how you look with the iphone. Try taking selfies at different angles? I don't know if this helped. Lol
Omg i think we're twins. I have over 1000 photos of me in the iphone because it is frustrating, I look hideous in the iphone. The front faced camera makes me look fatter, and my nose looks huge, when in reality I'm pretty good looking (girls have told me that). The front faced camera is low quality. I think the mirror is more accurate then any camera.
There's a reason why hot people always take good pictures… It is because they are hot.
- Why do I look okay in the front camera of my iPhone but bad in the back camera? I kinda look good in the front camera of my iPhone but I have noticed I don't look that "great" in the back camera of the phone. My face looks longer and my smile is bigger? It's kinda weird. But in the front camera i kinda look like the way I see myself in the mirror. But why do I look good in one camera but bad in the other if they're both cameras?
- Where can I reveal, or maybe learn how to reveal, a camera roll? NOT THE CAMERA ROLL IN AN Iphone, an actual camera roll. I just bought a 1960 German camera, and I was lucky to find a camera roll, but I don't know where to reveal the roll. I live near LA, CA. any ideas or comments?
- What app makes you look really flawless and is free? What app does people use on iPhone to make them look flawless. A girl at my school uses a really good one but she won't tell anyone
- My iPhone front camera makes me look different? I'm pretty sure it does. It shows all my imperfections and my spots it also shows so much more and it makes me feel terrible. For instance let me say I'm in a different light and I turn my iPhone front camera on. It exposes everything. Is this how people see me? Or is the iPhone exaggerating my acne?
