IPHONE: Can you see missed calls when you turn your phone on?

Trying to call a friend and their phone is off. Will they see I called when they turn it on?

Obviously.

If they have T-Mobile they will see that you called because T-Mobile allows incoming calls and messages when a person's phone has been turned off.

However, with any other carrier they will not see that you called.

When someone calls me on my new phone, it shows up as "missed call from ___".It doesn't ring on my on my old phone, but after I answer the call on my new phone, it says missed call on the old phone, if that makes sense. I receive text messages from people on my old iphone as well. I use it as my iPod because it could drain the life out of my new phone, so I don't necessarily want to reset the entire phone. I have cellular data off and I'm with Verizon.

  • My iphone 4s isn't ringing but does display missed calls? Whenever someone tries ringing it their phone makes a whistle and goes to voicemail. On my phone it will not ring at all, but afterwards show i have got a missed call from them, what do i do to fix this? Its not on silent, even if it was it would vibrate or show an incoming call for me to pick up but it doesn't just afterwards it shows a missed call
