IPhone data back up on HP laptop?

I took a back up of my iPhone 7 on my friends laptop(HP). After a month, the laptop was updated by my friend and since then I'm not able to restore the backup from iTunes. The iTunes says my phone has never been backed up on this laptop but the C drive shows that 70GB space has been covered with my data only.
How do I recover all those photos and videos?

Load them from his computer to a flash drive.

70GB of an iPhone backup? That's huge.

Not exactly sure if you simply used iTunes to backup the iPhone & that's that, because even if the computer was updated that wouldn't affect that from being able to be used for future restores of the device. If by "update" you meant that your friend reinstalled the OS or did a fresh update then yes that would render it useless.

You may need a iTunes backup extractor, hope it can help you.

  • Can I return Paid iPhone Game Apps from my Laptop back to my iPhone? In order to save GB Storage from my iPhone, I moved some of my games that took a lot of memory and put it on my Laptop Hard drive for safe keeping. Now that I have a little bit more room now, I would like to play those games again. Problem is I don't know how to return them. Just to be clear, yes I paid for them. I simply moved them and delete them from iPhone/itunes and moved them to my Laptop Hard drive for temporary storage.
