IPhone freezes when restoring?

I recently used iBackupBot to delete the large amount of text attachments eating up my iPhone's memory. I deleted all the little subfolders in the "Attachments" folder that contained the media, but I did not delete the actual Attachments folder itself. However, when I try to restore my iPhone with the restoration I deleted the attachments from, it nears completion and then the phone freezes and restarts. The phone itself is old and has been getting increasingly buggy (it's an iPhone 5), so freezing isn't uncommon, but it's strange that it can't even do a restore without having to restart itself. Could this be related to the deleted attachments?

Something I tried a long time ago… Turn off, take the battery out, wait for about 30 secs, refit battery switch on and try again. Like I said this worked on an old phone awhile ago.

So i tried that safe mode method(which i to do a hard resent and to press the volume key up when i see my apple logo) so i did that and when the lock screen came up it froze so any help?   • My iPhone 4 Freezes When I Turn it On? So I have an iPhone 4 16GIG Black (My cousin gave it). And everytime I want to turn it on, I follow the regular procedure. I click on the button to turn it on and release the button. The apple logo shows up but after that, nothing happeneds. It stays at the apple logo, nothing else happeneds. Please help me, I really need it. It will be appreciated
