IPhone from one carrier to another?
I have an iPhone 4 on Bell and I want to upgrade to iPhone 5.Is it possible for me to give my old iPhone 4 to a friend? How does that work?
The friend is currently on contract with Rogers. Is it possible for him to get the phone unlocked and carry on using it with his existing Rogers contract? Does he need a new SIM card or can he use the one that's already in there and keep his Rogers phone number and all that?
They have to have the same carrier as you for you to be able to give them your phone.
- Use IMEI blocked iPhone on another carrier? (Read description first)? The phone was legitimately purchased by me at GameStop. The phone worked for a few seconds and quit on me. By calling 611(the AT&T wireless customer portal), it indicated to me that it's IMEI blocked. I'm using a GoPhone SIM card and was wondering if I could just use T-Mobile instead to use the phone. Edit: I was using an iphone 3G for about a year and then moved my card over to the 4s.
- Is there an app where you can send videos from one iphone to another one? I need to send a vid to my friend, we can't use airdrop cos we don't live in same state, I also can't sent it on Facebook. Is there and app or a feature besides iMessage where I can send a videos, any lenth?
- If I buy an iphone used from another carrier ad buy a sim card from my carrier will that work? I have an iphone 4s with virgin mobile and I want an iphone 5 but all virgin mobile phones are so expensive! I looked on ebay for virgin mobile nano sim cards and they are only around 2 dollars. If I bought one of these sim cards and a used iphone 5 from another carrier would it work with my carrier?
- How to switch at&t carrier on iphone 4 to sprint carrier? I have an iphone4 with at&t carrier and would like to connect it with Sprint if possible. My phone is jail broken and I unlocked it too but it still says at&t carrier on it and sprint won't connect it if its am at&t phone.
