IPhone had urine damage. Is this even repairable?
Added (1). So, basically my little brother was playing with my iPhone all night. He fell asleep, peed the bed, and unfortunately, my iphone was peed on as well. I'm not sure how long it was drenched or if the rice bag trick will even work, due to urine acidity. Put it in a ziploc of rice, but if that does not work is there any thing else I should do? Help please! Thanks guys.
I was letting my little brother play games, by the way. He feel asleep and the iphone fell close to him.
If the phone won't power on after the rice bag trick, I think it's done. Unless you just recently purchased that phone, it's not worth paying to have it fixed. Might as well go ahead and buy the 5C. You can easily grab one of $50.
It's probably too late now, but…
What you should have done was to have immediately opened it up, remove the battery and any card/s and thoroughly rinsed them all with warm water in order to decontaminate them, and then used the rice treatment.
- Why did i go over my data even though i had it off I have an iPhone 5 with a 300mb data plan on AT&T, and i noticed i was almost going to go over it (i had 297 of 300mb) so i turned off my cellular usage off in the settings and just used my home Wi-Fi. But today i woke up and i got a message from AT&T saying that i had gone over my limit by 7mb! WHY? I had it off and never turned it on… Also, What happens if i go over my data?
- Urine damage to a iPhone 3GS? My 7 year old son fell asleep by my iPhone 3GS around 2 weeks ago. He also has a bed wetting problem,(we're sorting it out). The camera was very fogged up, and the screen is grey on one side. I have tried putting it rice. But does not work. When I tried to charge it the apple sign came up but turned off again 12secs later. Is it possible to take it somewhere to get it fixed. Or will I have to get a new iPhone? Sorry for the bad grammar.
- Is the screen of my iPhone 5 repairable? I shattered my phone a few months ago. I plan on buying a kit to repair it but i wanna know if it's repairale before i do here's a picture. .html
- Is my water damaged iphone 6 repairable? Dropped my iphone into the pool. Turned it off immediately and put it in a bag of rice. Research said to shake out excess water, in doing this I accidentally turned the phone on which obviously leads to it short circuiting. My question is, is there a possibility of it getting repaired by ifix or is there no going back?
