IPhone iOS update- Missing Purchased Music?

I connected my iPhone to my laptop originally to transfer photos to clear space, then I decided to update the soft wear and sync it up to the iTunes (blank/unused) like it suggested on my laptop. Then it said it needed to be restored in order to fix it so reluctantly, I restored it. I got it all updated and restored, got most of my music synced but a lot of my songs are missing and they seem to be random ones that I know I had before are not showing up on my iPhone or iTunes (ex: I had like 10 Pretty Lights songs now only 3 are showing up on iPhone and iTunes, the others are gone with the wind). I had 100 something songs (all purchased) before now only 80 something are showing up. I'd like to know from someone who's had this problem how/where/if I can find them or what I can do to get everything back to normal.

Added (1). The songs showed up in my purchased --> not on iphone list. Had to redownload them

Yup. Something similar just happened to me, and I recently posted a question about it. I'm sorry, I'm not really helping, but it's nice to know I'm not alone.

I have a jailbroken iOS 6.1.2 (iPhone 4S) and I'm just wondering if I will lose my messages, apps, music and photos etc if I update to iOS 7 from the jailbreak?   • Recently installed iOS 7.0 but something is missing? I own an iPod Touch 5th Gen. I'm from the UK and I updated my OS last night. I noticed that on the music app, there's no iTunes radio. Is this a feature that Apple will add later? I'm a little confused as Apple boasted about this new feature and it is nowhere to be seen. Maybe it is exclusive to iPhones and/or iPads or maybe it isn't released in the UK yet… Ahh, I just don't know. Anybody got some advice for me?

  • Missing music on my iPhone 4S? I updated to iOS 7 about two months ago, and haven't experienced any problems with the update thus far. However, today while going for my morning job, I realized the majority of my songs were gone. Instead of my normal 80 or so songs, I only have 18. Is there anyone who has experienced this problem? Is there any way to fix it and get my music back? PS: Please explain step by step with as much detail as possible, as I have little to no experience with iTunes.
