IPhone ios update text messages missing?
Last night I was updating my iphone 5 to the new ios 7 or whatever it is. As I was updating I had like 3 texts come in. After the update they weren't there. How can I recover those messages? I don't even know who sent them!
You could try logging in icloud.com with your Apple ID and see if it's there.
- Will the ios 7 update delete all my text messages I want to update my iPhone5 but, I can't/don't want to lose my text messages or my notes. When I updated an iPad, it deleted all the notes! So will that happen to my phone?
- Why is my iPhone5 sending some messages as iMessage and others as Text Messages? I understand that messages are sent as Text Messages when there's no signal or poor Wi-Fi connection. However, I'm successfully texting some people using iMessage but others (still iPhone users) as Text messages. The other person will send iMessages and then my responses will be sent as green Text Messages.
- When I receive text messages with emojis from an iPhone, why do the messages only appear partially? My phone is a "Verizon Samsung Intensity II" slide phone. (Also it's blue but that doesn't matter.) Also, if I'm included in an iPhone group chat (spoiled rich friends, but not snobby…), I get each posted message as a separate message, so I'll end up randomly with 67 unread messages clogging up my inbox.
- Recently installed iOS 7.0 but something is missing? I own an iPod Touch 5th Gen. I'm from the UK and I updated my OS last night. I noticed that on the music app, there's no iTunes radio. Is this a feature that Apple will add later? I'm a little confused as Apple boasted about this new feature and it is nowhere to be seen. Maybe it is exclusive to iPhones and/or iPads or maybe it isn't released in the UK yet… Ahh, I just don't know. Anybody got some advice for me?
