Iphone is cold and touchscreen not working?
So I woke up this morning and used my phone, but nothing is working. I can't slide the lock screen button or open any apps, all I can do is unlock my phone with the fingerprint scanner. I looked it up and apparently when the phone gets cold, the lcd screen doesn't work properly or something? I left my phone out on the table all night. How can I fix it?
Added (1). edit: I restarted my phone and it works now
It has to get Really cold for this to happen. It's not your issue unless it was below 32 degrees.
I actually tired this at college - we put a friend's 5S into the freezer in the staff room (measured at 2 degrees Celsius, or about 35 degrees or so) for 30 minutes. It worked fine.
- Why does my iPhone 5c home button not work in the cold? I just got this brand new iPhone 5c from Verizon store I work downtown out in the cold by the water so it's always like 20 degrees out and the home button always freezes and becomes unresponsive then goes back to normal on my way home not exactly what I want out of the "best phone"
- Why do I feel sleepy and weak? And my temperature changed from cold to hot? When I was sleeping last night I switched on my AC next to my bed, and first I felt cold then hot… I was wearing long trousers but short sleeved shirt. I'm at school now and its difficult for me to walk I feel so weak! This morning I didn't feel like eating as well. I didn't finish all my breakfast just left a bit of cereal on my bowl. Now I don't feel so good, feeling dizzy a bit, I was using my iPhone before going to bed, got a bit of sore throat and cough too?!
- Touchscreen on my iPhone 5s stopped working? I can't turn it off because i can't swipe the screen and i my home button doesn't work so i don't know how to factory reset it.
- Replaced battery in iPhone 5c and my touchscreen quit working? My battery tore up in my iPhone 5c so I replaced it, charged it up, and tried to access my phone. The "slide to unlock" wasn't responding when I tried to unlock the phone. I'm not sure what to do, please help and thank you.
