IPhone is deleting contact names
So I've recently added a few contacts on my iPhone 4 and suddenly now it's only coming up with my contact numbers and not their names. So someone with a random number will text me but I'll know it's them because I can look at our previous conversations. How do I get it to stop deleting names of contact numbers?
Go to Avast! And download their anti virus.
While your at it, get Prey security for free, if it is stolen or lost.
I have the same issue, they will be in my contacts list and then I get a text from them and all their contact information is lost.
- Why is my Iphone 4 not showing the contact names on my in-coming texts? I'm having this issue with my Iphone 4 after updating. Suddenly my text messages are not displaying the contact name, but rather just the phone number of the person sending the text. It always displayed the senders name prior to updating, and now I can;t get it to return doing so. I've tried rebooting my phone and tried to look up some info on the net, but nothing seems to work to get it back. Has anyone experienced anything similar and if so, how did you fix the issue.
- Why do the names of my artists change when i sync with my iphone? Every time i sync my iphone with my itunes library it will change the artists names to something different, for example all of my Tupac songs are clearly named Tupac in my library, but when i sync they will be renamed to 2pac, Tupac etc. The part i don't understand is that for my ipod they show up like i have them saved on the computer. If anyone knows why this is and how to stop it please tell me
- Why are their names & numbers still showing on my iphone? I deleted down people. However they do not appear on the address book but when I create a new message and type the first initial of the person I'm texting, the people I have deleted will come up but there will be an "other" there!
- Is there a free caller ID app to allow you to see names? Someone told me there's a Iphone app to allow you to see the name of the person calling. At this point my Iphone only shows the number unless of course they are in my contacts. I'd like to see the names of people if there's a app for it.
