Why is my Iphone 4 not showing the contact names on my in-coming texts?
I'm having this issue with my Iphone 4 after updating. Suddenly my text messages are not displaying the contact name, but rather just the phone number of the person sending the text. It always displayed the senders name prior to updating, and now I can;t get it to return doing so. I've tried rebooting my phone and tried to look up some info on the net, but nothing seems to work to get it back. Has anyone experienced anything similar and if so, how did you fix the issue.
Because you have an iPhone. Fix the issue by smashing it to pieces then setting it on fire to make sure its dead. Then eat it as punishment for having an iFail in the first place.
I'm having the same issue and now I transferred to an i6 and same issue.
- Why aren't texts coming through on my iphone? For some reason some of my messages aren't coming through on my Iphone 4s. Yesterday I was texting a few people, no more than usual, and turned my phone on and off again at around 11pm to receive all my responses that were sent at around 3pm. I keep having to turn my phone on and off again so my messages will come through. Is there a setting where this can be stopped? My messages from fellow iphone users come through as usual.
- Why are their names & numbers still showing on my iphone? I deleted down people. However they do not appear on the address book but when I create a new message and type the first initial of the person I'm texting, the people I have deleted will come up but there will be an "other" there!
- Why are my iMessages showing up as texts for certain iPhone users? Okay, so I have an iPhone 4S and earlier today, I tried to text one of my friends earlier who has an iPhone 4S and iMessage wasn't registering when I entered their number, and the texts would only send as text messages. I can send iMessages to all of my other friends who have iPhones without any problems. This friend is the only person it's not working for. I'm not sure what the problem is.
- How do you stop calls coming from one device coming to your device from iCloud (apple iPhone)? I'm 13 and i don't have a credit card so i use my mums account and since my phone and her phone has the same icloud, her calls come into MY phone and i've tried making a new apple id but it won't work so how can i stop it (i've already logged out on my phone) so how can i stop it?
