IPhone issues still under warranty, where do I take it?
So my iPhone 5s when I shake it is making a noise like a screw is loose in there and it's not the lock button or mute button loose so I would just not care it fix it myself but it's under warranty so I'll use it while I got it. I have this phone through att so do I take it to them or the apple store? And out of curiosity if they replace it do I keep my old one?
I would call both to get different opinions. Won't hurt you to check.
I'd imagine it would specify this in the warranty…
I have AT&T also, and when one of my older iPhones needed repairs, I took it to AT&T and they said that I had to take it to an Apple Store. I did that, and they handled the problem without any issues.
And, if they do replace it, you DO NOT get to keep your old one. Back it up before you go in with it, and let them do what they need to do. Don't try to fix it yourself, as if you screw it up, it WON'T be covered.
- Will my iPhone still be under warranty? A few months ago I cracked the back of my phone and the other day I picked up my phone and the lock button won't work. I know it's still under warranty because of when I bought it, but because it's cracked can they not fix the lock button for free?
- Will Apple replace my iPhone 6 that is still under warranty? The home button on my iPhone will periodically stop working for a short period of time, then start working again randomly. Is this something that they would replace the phone for? I've had the phone less than a year.
- Will Apple replace my crack iPhone 6 if it still under warranty? Like I just drop my iPhone 6 the other day with a shattered screen and I noticed that I only had my iPhone for less than a year. So I was thinking about taking it to Apple to get it replace for free instead of paying. Is that true?
- Is iphone charger under warranty? I just purchased an iPhone 4S 2 weeks ago and I left my charger at school yesterday and was wondering if apple warranty covers the charger also and if I can get replaced?
