IPhone, iTunes Library Problem

I have a new iPhone 4S. It has no music or anything. However my old iPhone had 750 songs on it, and most of the songs are on iTunes.

I would like to put all my songs from my old iPhone, into a playlist in my iTunes Library. However when i plug my old 3GS into iTunes, it won't let me drag songs into the library?

Songs from unkown singers who has not name in songs properties don't take library. So edit them.

  • Will downloading a new iTunes ruin my old iTunes library? I tried connecting my new iPhone 5 to my iTunes but it said that it wouldn't connect because my version of iTunes was really old (from 2010) and I never updated. It said I need to download a new version of iTunes (10.7 onwards) for it to be compatible with my iPhone. But my question is, IF I download a new version of iTunes, will all my old songs on my old iTunes disappear? Because if I had to re-download my whole library, I would seriously cry. That would take the rest of my life.
  • Why won't my iphone 4 sync with my itunes library? For some reason it does not work. I tried automatically syncing it and manually, but I can only get the songs if it is in a playlist. I want to be able to see all of the songs by artist though and the new songs are not under there. Also, some of the artists have spelling errors which I fixed on my itunes library, but which won't come up in my iphone. Really annoying. It used to be I just plugged in my ipod and everything synced with the itunes library.
  • What happens when your itunes library exceeds your iphone capacity? Is there some way to choose the files/songs you want to place on the iphone and the rest to leave off? Please inform - thanks!
  • IPhone photo library problem? I was deleting my Myspace and taking screenshots of old photos to keep, but when I went to the photo library I got an "updating photo library" notice and when it finally loaded, there were no pictures! Except the last photo where they all should be have a picture of a camera, under it "jpg" it can't be deleted or viewed what should I do?
