What happens when your itunes library exceeds your iphone capacity?
Is there some way to choose the files/songs you want to place on the iphone and the rest to leave off? Please inform - thanks!
Yes, it will actually tell you there's not enough space and ask if you would like to pick and choose what goes on or have it choose for you. I know because i have this problem all the time.
- Will downloading a new iTunes ruin my old iTunes library? I tried connecting my new iPhone 5 to my iTunes but it said that it wouldn't connect because my version of iTunes was really old (from 2010) and I never updated. It said I need to download a new version of iTunes (10.7 onwards) for it to be compatible with my iPhone. But my question is, IF I download a new version of iTunes, will all my old songs on my old iTunes disappear? Because if I had to re-download my whole library, I would seriously cry. That would take the rest of my life.
- Why Does My Itunes keep saying Over Capacity? I Have a16 Gb iphone and i currently have 1,140 songs which takes up 8 gb total according to itunes, keep in mind that i have over 1 gb free, so i decided to add a few more songs and tried to sync but then it said over capacity by 302 mb i don't get it, How can i be over the capacity by 300 mb if i have at least 1gb available?/ can someone please explain this!
- What happens if you buy a iPhone of eBay and it happens to be stolen? I typed in a serial number of an iPhone into apple checker and it said the phone has not been activated? The phone is still sealed in its box is the phone ok to buy?
- On your iPhone how do you free up some capacity? I have a 16gb iPhone and it says 4.2% is other… What does other consist of and how do I delete some of it?
