IPhone keeps sharing net history with other phones on my plan?
I have an iphone4 and I share a plan with 4 other people. I have my settin how I want them and if someone hanged their setting it changes mine, if someone adds apps or music it adds it to my phone as well. It also shares my Internet history with all the phones. One of the people on this plan is my father in law and my husband. My husband and I do NOT want everything we do and look at on our phones to be shared with his dad and brother and sister. I've looked through every setting on my phone and I can't make it stop. What so I do? We need privacy!
It sounds like you all use the same iTunes account by what your saying. ITunes does that so I suggest you set up a new one for you and hubby get ride of all the apps you share with family and get them again under your name. That will stop the shared apps and music you mention.
iTunes has nothing to do with your shared phone plan its separate, you can all have your own iTunes account and it won't change your plan just the apps on your phone.
Regarding your history it has to be something your phone carrier has on the account it isn't the phone. The phone isn't that smart.
Go back to the Internet carrier, they usually have a phone line for help and ask them why its happening and if it can be fixed without changing your plan.
They are the only ones that can fix it.
- When sharing imessages with other iphones, can they also see green non imessage texts too? My parents and I share the same Icloud account and receive all my text messages to keep and eye on me. I know they get imessages but can they also receive the regular text messages that get sent to non iphone users?
- Is there anyway I can access other people on my routers internet history? I was trying to see what sites people on my router have been on and I was just wondering if it was possible and if it goes away when they delete internet history. We have 9 things connected (laptops, iPods, iPhone's, etc) so can I look separately for each device or is it all in one.
- If I use my iPhone as a hotspot, will it charge me extra on my sharing plan with Verizon? I'm mainly asking to see so we can get rid of our internet maybe and use our IPhone's. However, will it affect our bills with Verizon? Please help and if you need more details I will add updates to this!
- If I buy an AT&T iPhone 4s, can I put a Net 10 service plan? I'm buying an iPhone 4s, and the seller says I can use it with net 10 even if its an at&t iphone. Is it true?
