IPhone keyboard not working?

I have an iPhone 3GS and for the past few days the keyboard has been really sluggish and typing things wrong. Sometimes I have to press keys quite a few timed to get them to type (especially the space bar). I've had my phone for about 2 years now and I've never had any problems before. I haven't got the money to get it fixed but is there anything I can do?

Instead of repairing it, you could first go to a specialist and find out what is actually wrong with it. Most places do that for free. Then from their, you will at least know what needs repairing

  • Why is my keyboard not making sounds on my iPhone? So my keyboard won't make those clicky noises, and my phone won't make that noise when I lock it. I also don't get a sound when I receive mail:/ I've tried to turn the switched on and off, reset my settings, and adjust my volume. Nothin has worked so far. How can I fix it?
  • Keyboard clicks, lock sounds, ringer etc.not working but iPod is? (iPhone 4s)? I've had my iPhone for about 6 months and the buttons on the left hand side have stopped working, the keyboard clicks, lock sounds, ringer, alerts and app sounds don't work through the speaker but music will play through the speaker. All of my sound setting are turned on but still no sound? Vibrate works but sound would be pretty helpful.
  • Is there not a keyboard for traditional chinese characters in iOS9? How is it that people get by having to draw out full characters rather than type it out? Is there some easier way of typing the characters than drawing them? I can't imagine traditional users of the iPhone using texting much. It seems too much of a pain.
  • IPhone Color keyboard backgrounds not showing up? Title pretty much says it all. I updated from IOS 5.0.1 to IOS 6.1 and when I tried to put the background on my keyboard it didn't show up after respring. I've tried everything I could think of from changing backgrounds to reinstalling it, but nothing works. I didn't have this problem till I updated so if someone could help it would be appreciated.
