Iphone no longer connect to home Wi-Fi?

I've had my iphone 4 for a good 2 years now and I've never had a problem connecting to Wi-Fi, but recently my phone will not connect to my Wi-Fi. I know it is not my router as my ipod touch/laptop etc all connect fine with no problems. I have already tried resetting my phone/turning it on and off and restoring it etc and nothing seems to work. The actual Wi-Fi does come up but when I click to join it, all it does is show the loading symbol next to it and doesn't connect. I haven't recently damaged my phone in anyway either. Please help me as i'm having to use 3G which is running up quite a bill, thank you!

Added (1). I have IOS 6.1.3 so my phones all up to date!

Which iOS version do you have? Some versions have had issues with some types of Wi-Fi.

When a co-worker first got an iPhone 4S it would not connect to our office Wi-Fi. But he was able to connect to his home Wi-Fi and once he updated his iOS on that, he was able to connect to our office Wi-Fi. Although, eventually the Wi-Fi on his 4S had a hardware failure (would not even turn ON) and he had to get a warranty replacement phone.

From what I read on Apple forums when trying to troubleshoot his phone, Apple devices seem to often have Wi-Fi issues, in some cases with the iOS and other cases with failing wireless hardware. That requires trying a bunch of different things to determine the problem because some solutions work for some people and not others.

  • Why can't my desktop connect to our Wi-Fi at home but does connect to moble hotspot? Suddenly my desktop won't connect to our Wi-Fi. All other devices such as laptops, phones and tablets connects just fine. I tried connecting it to my iphone's hotspot and it works. I tried to unistall and reinstall the wireless adapter but still won't work. I also tried to reboot the router and even tried to change the channel but still failed to make it work. Do you have any other way to make it work? I have windows 7 on my desktop.
  • One laptop can connect to our home Wi-Fi network but no other devices can connect? We recently set up a wireless internet connection in our house. One laptop can connect to it (the one I'm currently on) but no other devices can connect to it. It says our "Network Security Key" is mismatched. I have tried typing in all the different codes on both the router and modem on both our second laptop and an iPhone 5. How can I fix this?
  • My iphone will not connect to my home Wi-Fi. It can connect to any other network with no problems All my other devices at home connect with no problem, but once i updated my phone it won't connect here. I've reset the router, my network settings, forgot this network, even wiped out my phone and it still won't work. I changed the dns several times. Sometimes that works for a little while, but then eventually stops. What the hell?
  • My iPhone can't connect to any networks for longer than a few minutes? Whenever I try to connect either the Wi-Fi will not turn on at all or it can't find any networks. Everything else works fine and my Internet runs smoothly, I tried resetting the network connections, turning the phone off and on, backing up my phone but still nothing. I just want to know if I can fix this by myself or not.
