IPhone not picking up that it is communicating to another iPhone?
You know how when, if you have an iPhone and the person you are texting also has an iPhone your texts show up in a blue bubble instead of a green bubble?
Well, my dad and I both have iPhone (iPhone 5s) and they are both up to date.
His phone -- When he texts me, his bubbles are green.
My phone -- When I text him my bubbles are blue.
So essentially, my phone is picking up on the fact that his phone is an iPhone, but his phone isn't picking up on the fact that my phone is an iPhone.
For a few months this hasn't been a problem (who cares what color the bubble is, right?).
The issue now is that we want to use FaceTime and his phone isn't allowing him to do that, because it doesn't think that my phone is an iPhone.
Have him go into his contacts and select yours then press edit. Right next to where it shows your number it says what type of phone you have. Tap on that and a list of options comes up. Then select IPhone.
- Worth picking up an Iphone 4 for $279? It's not the S model, I don't believe, but is that a good price? Or can I find something significantly better for the price? If so, please drop some names for me. Would prefer if this was an established brand - respect by both buyers and tech-savvy reviewers (Cnet.com, etc).
- Why is my laptop not picking up my Wi-Fi but my iphone is? I have an 'Acer Aspire One Happy 2' laptop that runs on windows 7. I have just gone to my grans and her Wi-Fi works fine on my Iphone 4 but my laptop is not even picking up the signal. My laptop works fine at the Mcdonalds round the corner from me so why isn't it working here. I even typed it in manually and it didn't work, its not picking up any signal at all
- Placing a pre-order at one store, picking up at another? So I pre-ordered an iPhone at Best Buy, but I, like many others, got the annoying email about how much they care, but your phone won't be ready for up to 28 days. So, even though the store I pre-ordered the phone at is out of the one I got, there are about 4 other stores in my area who have it in stock. Would it be possible to just go to a different Best Buy to pick the phone up, or are the adamant about you sticking with the store you placed the pre-order at?
- My iPhone isn't picking up any Wi-Fi? Last week my iPhone's Wi-Fi just stopped working. It isn't picking up any networks, not even at home. My brothers iPhones are working fine on the home network but mine isn't. Whenever I click on it, it just loads and stops - nothing else. It won't let me type the password!
