Iphone photo storage and iCloud problem?
I have around only 100+ photos in my camera roll and i just turned off the photo stream, however my photo storage is 6.2 GB. This is taking a lot of space in my iPhone 5s. It recently gave a notice that i don't have enough storage since my iCloud is only 5 GB but the photos are 6.2GB. I don't want to buy a new storage, how do i fix this? Can i not sync these back up photos to iCloud since i have already sync them to my mac? Btw i still have free 5GB of iCloud
If it were me, I'd save all the pictures to my computer and then to a flash drive.
I have several 32GB or more SD cards and or Flash drives, that I use just for pictures that I take with my phone and my cameras. Really important pictures I save on more than one flash drive, online and on my computer.
I do not understand the need to want to store every song, and picture on a phone, not when there are so many off phone storage options, that can be accessed at any time to view the pictures.
Yes i agree. I have been saving my photos onto my laptop's memory. I don't intend to save any on iCloud. Therefore, i need a way to not connect it with the iCloud but it kept on bugging me to upgrade my iCloud memory since i have a huge storage. I really need a way to not store it into iCloud and make space for my phone
- What to do about my iphone storage saying I'm using up way more photo storage than I actually am? My storage says I have 132 photos that's using up most of my storage; almost 3 GB. I have only 52 photos and 15 videos in my phone. It seems like it may be using storage from pictures I deleted, but apparently they're still using space? ? Has this happened to anyone else. I've taken my phone to an apple store, and I didn't get any answers.
- Problem with storage on iCloud? I have an iPhone and am using the 5 free GB of data given by iCloud. According to the storage info in the settings, here is my storage through iCloud: 1.5 MB for camera roll and 5.9 MB with mail. However, the phone says that I'm using up 2.5 GB on the iCloud. Where is this coming from? Is there anything else taking up storage that I'm unaware of?
- On the I cloud on the Iphone what does total storage and available storage mean? Basically it says total storage 5gb and availible storage 5 gb. Does that mean there's already 5 gb of files on the Icloud?
- IPhone storage full but iCloud storage not? I'm in the Navy and I'm going on deployment soon so, I'm racking up on stuff like movies and music so I won't be bored during deployment… I'm 3 seasons in on downloading stuff on Netflix and it says my storage is full… I deleted a lot of useless apps and music already and I downloaded a few more then it happened again… I see my iCloud storage is very empty but my phone storage is too full… How can I fix this.
