IPhone Photos taking up space?
I've backed up my photos onto google photos and deleted all (2,500+) photos on the Photos app some weeks ago. Now I have 74 photos. But, it says it's taking up 1 GB of space? How's that possible?
Restart the phone
Have you emptied the deleted photos folder?
It could be videos if you have any. They usually take up tons of space.
It could be that the "space" the camera is referring to is your cloud storage.
I'd connect the phone to a computer and do a file search for *.jpeg. This will show all files with the .jpeg extension. Doing this will confirm exactly which files are on your phone, and it'll allow you to delete them too.
- Why is other taking up so much space on my iPhone? - 1 And more importantly, what can I get rid of to get more space? I've deleted texts, calls, voicemails, emails, photos, songs, safari cookies & data, AND notes. What is going on? It's taking up around 3 GBs (or whatever) and it's killing me.

I only have MAYBE 200 pictures at the MAX and, yes, a few videos only a few minutes long, but for some reason it says I have 8.2 GB of memory used on pictures. I just went through all of my pictures, and I was thinking there had to be some app or SOMETHING using a lot of picture memory somehow. P Please, can anyone give me a little help and tell me what could be causing this?
