The battery might be down so it can take 2-3 days to get normal or at least charge little faster. There's also a possibility of battery damage for not charging the phone for 2 years or so. In that case, you've to get the battery replaced.
The lithium polymer battery has been permanently damaged by being left uncharged for so long. Batteries in that condition are at the highest risk of exploding or catching fire whilst being charged so make sure that recharging is always done on a solid flame resistant surface.
If you want to fix it then get the battery replaced. The cheapest replacements don't usually have the claimed charge capacity and usually rapidly lose performance, so look for repair shops which offer a minimum one year warranty on the repair as they're telling you that they're fully confident in the batteries they supply.
- Would you buy a new iPhone every 2 years or 4 years? Why? If your not a fan of iPhones don't answer please. And would you buy the S models if you don't already own an iPhone?
- Will the IPhone that's gonna be released in 2019 slow down after a few years like all the other Apple products? Ever since the news that Apple has purposefully made it so their devices slowly starts working worse as time goes by I haven't bought another Apple product but I really need a new phone, I wish I could buy another phone like Samsung but I have information on my current phone for school that can't be transferred. So I have been waiting for an Apple phone that won't slow down over time, so I don't have to constantly buy new phones and waste thousands.
- Why is my iphone charging extremely slowly? I have an iPhone 4S had it for about 3 years now and today it is charging extremely slow. It was on 90% and took almost an hour to get to 92%. This has happened before some months ago but I switched over the adapter and it was fine. This has not worked this time. Any suggestions as I can't afford a new phone right now
