IPhone sound won't work and dropped in water earlier?

Well I was throwing it to a friend and se happened to have a tub of orberz with water in a ice cream tub. Well it fell in on the side where you play everything. I dried it off and it was fine, the sound was working and everything. 2 hours later I was putting the ringer on and it said headphones which I didn't have any in for the past 3
Days. I turned it off and back on and now where you see how loud the ringer is (the squares) its not there. It says ringer and everything. I have no sound at all.

Switch it off.Otherwise more circuits would go bad. Use a Hair Dryer to dry it.
Then for 4 days put it in a bowl of raw rice. Rice would absorb all the moisture.
It should then work well. Even the voice.

Brilliant idea. I'll throw my 800$ phone too: D

  • I dropped my iPhone in some water and now the sound won't work? I dropped my iPhone in water, and the sound is sorta malfunctioning. The iPhone still works, and it still vibrates, and I can listen to voicemail, ect. But I can't use sound when I'm playing games or listening to music. I've tried some things and I can get it two work for a couple of seconds but its driving me crazy. Any suggestions?
  • I dropped my iPhone 6 and sound doesn't work at all? So I dropped my phone in the hallway. Screen protector cracked, but seemed fine. However, music/podcasts/YouTube won't play with headphones or through speakers. When I call people, I can hear the ringing, but the other person can't hear me. I've already tried restarting my phone.
