Iphone texts received on 2 phones?
I updated my iphone 4 to the latest ios software on itunes and now when i text people and they reply, it shows up on my dad's phone! How can i change this so when i send and receive texts, it's only on my phone?
It shows the texts i send and what they reply on both of our phones!
I'm going to assume that your dad owns an iPhone as well.
It is most likely an issue with iMessage. One is registered with an email, and then you have a phone number registered along with that email. Both phones are registered as iMessage devices on the same account. So turn iMessage off on his and you should be ok.
If not… Well, I don't know what to tell you.
- Why isn't my iPhone 5 not receiving or sending texts to andriod phones? I just recently got an iPhone 5 (regular. Not 5s or 5c). I haven't updated to iOS7 yet but ever since I've gotten this phone it hasn't received or sent text messages to an android phone. I haven't tried calling yet so I'm not sure about that yet.
- Why does my iPhone sometimes send texts to other iPhones as iMessages then regular texts to iPhones? Like when I send a text to my friend that has an iphone, it usually sends as an iMessage then it will randomly send as just a regular text and it will be green and not blue.
- What cell phone, and company, is the best for someone who just listens to music, streams shows/videos, and texts? Cheapest plans/phones? I occasionally talk on my phone, and/or take photos. Also, can I still get the food/ride share apps if I don't have an IPhone? I live in a mid-sized city in the mid-west. (over 100,000 pop. And over 70 square miles)
- Just lost my texts and now i can't send texts? I'm on a tarrif where i get unlimited text 150 mins and 250mb of data (Vodafone) and i was texting my mother and all of a sudden my texts wouldnt send and then my network went it came up no service on my phone ( i'm using an iphone 3gs i don't care about what phone i have as long as i have one lol ) then my network came back on and i have my internet and my calls but don't have my texts can anyone help me to sort this out
