Iphone Upgrade Plan 2 year contract?
So i have a Iphone 5c, i got in August of last year. And I would like a Iphone 6s plus. But here is the problem, I don't wanna pay a ETF. Could I switch to the Iphone Upgrade Plan without paying any ETF's?
Early termination is there for a reason.
You are paying for last years phone (over 24 months), so they need you to finish paying for it.
The airtime.yep, that part they will appear to discount - as you will still be paying for it on the new contract… You don't pay twice.
So your choices are…
- buy a new iphone 6s plus without contract (eg unlocked/ SIM free from Apple)
- swap your iPhone 5c for someone who does not like the 6s plus
- pay the ETF (to pay off the phone)
- wait…
that's it really…
and even with ETF,
you should be able to get a lot back if you sell the old iphone.
They hold their value well compared to other phones - so might cover the ETF. Ask if they will accept it as a trade in - you might even get more than the ETF and be in profit.
go look on ebay / ask in your local trade in mobile shop how miuch yours is worth.
- Will the sprint iPhone Forever plan or a similar plan be available later this year? I don't have enough money right now and it expires soon, but I'm asking because it's a great deal and I don't want to miss out on it. Obviously you can't know for sure, but has anyone paid attention to previous years, and/or can you make an educated guess?
- Is there a way to get sprint to let you upgrade early from a 2 year contract? I have 2 iPhone SE's I got with sprint for free with a 2 year contract. It will be exactly a year i've had the contract in june this year and my contract does not end until june 2018. I've been having problems with the phone getting over heated and shutting off. I want to uprgrade to a iPhone 7 with financing. Everytime I call they tell me with a attitude to either wait another year or pay a $350 termination fee for each device.
- Sprint 2-year contract upgrade? I'm really confused about this whole thing. My 2 years is coming up (in November) and I want to know what will happen? Do I just walk into the store and trade my phone for the new one I want? Will it be free? If not how much? I have a galaxy s3 and I want a 16gb iphone 5c.
- IPhone at&t upgrade? 2 year contract? Anyone know when I can upgrade my iPhone on AT&T with a discount? My 2 year contract ends on February 18, 2013 but people are telling me I can upgrade my iPhone to iPhone 5, 2 months before February and still get the discount ( without having to pay $600+) is that true or?
